According to the chronological order and in combination with the development characteristics of China's aquaculture industry, this paper systematically sorts out the relevant policies and regulations implemented during the development process, with the aim of accurately grasping the historical trajectory and historical inevitability of China's promotion of the green development of the aquaculture industry. Then, based on the relevant statistical data and literature of the aquaculture industry, and through the comparison and analysis of multiple indicators, this paper summarizes the realistic basis of the green development process of the aquaculture industry. Since the founding of the People's Republic of China, China's aquaculture industry has undergone a transformation from extensive and linear development to intensive, circular and green ecological development.
