As a fundamental tool subject, Chinese plays an extremely important role in cultivating students' abilities of listening, speaking, reading and writing. Its teaching methods are particularly crucial. Influenced by traditional teaching concepts, Chinese teaching often sees teachers taking the leading role in the classroom, while students lack initiative and become mere spectators or outsiders. They passively accept the theories of their teachers and are led by the nose. Over time, their thinking abilities and individual development are suppressed, and their interest in learning gradually wanes. As a result, in current Chinese teaching, there is a widespread situation where students are not very interested in Chinese, or even feel bored with it.
