The training objective of mechanical engineering majors in technical colleges is to cultivate innovative and applied mechanical engineering professionals who can meet the demands of society and enterprises. However, from the current situation of vocational education, on the one hand, there is a huge demand for highly skilled talents in society. On the other hand, graduates from mechanical engineering majors in technical colleges have difficulty finding suitable jobs. This phenomenon indicates that there is still a certain deviation between the training objectives and quality of technical colleges and the demand for highly skilled talents in society. The main reason lies in the fact that in the current education and teaching of mechanical engineering majors in some technical colleges, there is still a phenomenon of "emphasizing theory and neglecting practice". The combination of theory and practice, knowledge and ability, classroom and job positions is still at a relatively shallow level. There is still a large gap between teaching and practice, and the training objectives are disconnected from job demands. This book discusses the teaching practice of mechanical engineering majors from aspects such as an overview of the teaching system of mechanical engineering majors, the reform and reflection of practical teaching in mechanical engineering majors, as well as flipped classrooms, integration of theory and practice, digital resources, knowledge visualization and the design of teaching spaces for mechanical engineering majors. It is hoped that it can provide certain references and assistance for researchers or front-line teachers in the field of mechanical engineering majors in technical colleges. However, due to limited ability, there are still many deficiencies in this book. Here, I hope that readers can offer their valuable corrections.
