The quality of construction projects, like that of other products, is not only related to the development of the national economy but also to the vital interests of the people. In the course of engineering construction, China has long put forward the construction policy of "Quality First for a Project of a Hundred Years", and the whole society pays great attention to the quality of construction projects. However, over the years, quality accidents in construction projects have always been the most prominent problem in engineering construction, and the quality and safety of construction projects have increasingly become the focus of public concern. Due to the characteristics of the construction industry's production activities, such as long cycle, large volume, dispersed and mobile operations, many outdoor and high-altitude operations, and high physical labor intensity, it is highly dangerous and has many unsafe factors, making it an industry with a high incidence of accidents. Practical experience has shown that a large number of construction project accidents are caused by the imperfection of the engineering quality and safety management system or the operational errors of construction personnel. Therefore, establishing a sound and effective quality and safety management system for construction projects and strengthening quality and safety management during the construction process are the keys to further improving the quality and safety management level of construction projects.
