In recent years, the development of basketball in Chinese universities has been vigorous, becoming the most popular sport among students in their spare time. The favorable development of basketball can be attributed to its inherent vitality and characteristics, as well as the increasing fitness awareness and enthusiasm for basketball among students. This is the driving force and opportunity for the development of basketball in universities. However, despite this, we must admit that compared with developed sports countries in Europe and America, basketball in Chinese universities still shows some deficiencies such as monotonous forms, low training quality, and weak teaching staff.
