Senior high school information technology is a fundamental course aimed at comprehensively enhancing students' information literacy. Guided by the new curriculum standards, it has gradually evolved into an indispensable and important subject. The reform of information technology teaching aims to stimulate students' interest, provide more choices, and enable them to gain a deeper understanding of information technology. Such reforms can not only increase students' participation but also ensure the effective achievement of information technology teaching objectives. In the context of senior high school education and teaching in an information society, the information technology curriculum is of great value. How to cultivate students' core competencies while adhering to the new curriculum standards and breaking through the limitations of traditional teaching models poses a serious challenge to current senior high school information technology teaching. However, senior high school information technology education is still in the development stage. Especially, with the upcoming inclusion of the information technology course in compulsory education into the unified management of the provincial junior high school academic proficiency test, how to seamlessly connect junior and senior high school information technology courses and cultivate students' core literacy in a more efficient manner has become an urgent issue that educators need to explore in depth. Teachers should explore and develop a complete set of teaching plans under the guidance of the new curriculum standards, aiming to optimize teaching methods and enhance students' practical abilities. These plans should focus on cultivating students' core literacy to meet the needs of social development.
