This research investigates the convergence of Yan Fu’s translation methods and  Gadamer’s hermeneutics, addressing a significant gap in translation studies. It emphasizes  the necessity of transitioning from theoretical concepts to practical applications, particularly  in implementing cross-cultural translation techniques in educational contexts. By integrating  Yan Fu’s principles within Gadamer's theoretical framework, the study aims to enhance  translation pedagogy, which currently lacks comprehensive investigation into the integration  of cultural and philosophical elements.
