The development of the new energy vehicle industry and the reduction of carbon emissions from automobiles are crucial steps towards achieving the goals of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality. With the rapid growth of China's new energy vehicle industry, higher demands have been placed on the quality, knowledge and skills of professionals in the new energy vehicle production field. Currently, most of the new energy vehicle majors in secondary vocational schools have been established for a short time and are mainly oriented towards the automotive aftermarket, making it difficult to meet the rapidly growing talent demands of new energy vehicle enterprises at present. Therefore, it is highly necessary to conduct research on the talent cultivation model in the new energy vehicle major of secondary vocational schools.

Based on the current situation of vocational colleges in the region and closely following the development of the new energy vehicle industry, this book studies the talent cultivation model for the new energy vehicle major in secondary vocational schools oriented towards school-enterprise cooperation, aiming to address the human resource demands of the new energy vehicle industry. Through conducting enterprise and school surveys, as well as industrial and talent demand analyses, it grasps the predicaments existing in the supply and demand of talents in new energy vehicle manufacturing enterprises and secondary vocational schools, and proposes strategies for school-enterprise cooperation to address the imbalance in talent supply and demand.
